WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Sept. 28) -- The Thiel College Women's Tennis team dropped a 7-0 affair at Waynesburg University in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action from the Bechtle Family Tennis Facility.

The Tomcats dip to 0-5 (0-2) while the Yellow Jackets rise to 5-3 (1-2).

In singles action, Summer Stitt (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) had a strong showing at No. 6, but eventually dropped a 7-6 (7-2), 6-2 decision. Makayal Flock won a pair of games at No. 2 singles before falling 6-1, 6-1. 

In doubles, Alivia Fallon (Mount Pleasant, Pa./Mount Pleasant) and Chloe Walton (Lower Burrell, Pa./Burrell) fell 6-1 at No. 2 while Stitt and Olivia Walker (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) also fell 6-1 at No. 3.

Thiel is back in action tomorrow evening for a PAC-tilt at Geneva beginning at 6 p.m.
