GREENVILLE, Pa. (Sept. 24) -- The Thiel College Women's Tennis team was blanked by Westminster College 7-0 Thursday evening from Tomcat Tennis Courts in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action.

The Tomcats drop to 0-4 (0-1) while the Titans rise to 2-3 (2-2).

In doubles action, Summer Stitt (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) and Olivia Walker (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) dropped a tight 6-4 decision at No. 3. Alivia Fallon (Mount Pleasant, Pa./Mount Pleasant) and Chloe Walton (Lower Burrell, Pa./Burrell) took a game at No. 1, but fell 6-1.

Walton took a trio of games at No. 2 singles before falling 6-1, 6-2. Walker fell at No. 4 singles 6-1, 6-1 while Stitt fell by the same score at No. 5 singles. Emmalea Zummo (Jeannette, Pa./Jeannette) took a game at No. 4 singles.

Thiel is back in action next Monday for its rescheduled PAC tilt at Waynesburg beginning at 5 p.m.
