TRAFFORD, Pa. (Aug. 25) -- Four members of the Thiel College women's tennis team were named Players to Watch by the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) ahead of the 2026 season.

Alivia Fallon (Mount Pleasant, Pa./Mount Pleasant), Makayla Flock (Greensburg, Pa./Greensburg Salem), Chloe Walton (Lower Burrell, Pa./Burrell) and Emmalea Zummo (Jeannette, Pa./Jeannette) represented the Tomcats on the list.

Fallon returns after establishing herself as a regular near the top of Thiel's lineup last season. She competed primarily at No. 2 and No. 3 singles while also seeing action throughout the doubles lineup. Fallon turned in several competitive performances during the season, including a three-set battle at No. 3 singles against La Roche that was ultimately decided in a third-set tiebreak.

Walton also returns with extensive lineup experience after regularly competing in both singles and doubles action last season. She saw time throughout the middle of the singles lineup, including at the No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 positions. Walton also teamed with several different partners in doubles play, giving the Tomcats another versatile and experienced returner entering the 2026 campaign.

Flock enters her senior season after contributing in both singles and doubles throughout 2025. She saw action in the bottom half of Thiel's singles lineup while also becoming a regular contributor in doubles. Flock was part of one of the Tomcats' top doubles performances of the season, collecting a pair of triumphs.

Zummo rounds out Thiel's Players to Watch selections entering her senior campaign. She gained experience throughout the singles lineup last season and was also a regular in doubles action, including appearances alongside Flock. Her experience gives the Tomcats another veteran presence as the program welcomes a large group of newcomers in 2026.

The Tomcats open the 2026 season Sept. 11 on the road against Baldwin Wallace. Thiel makes its home debut Sept. 14 against Fredonia at the Tomcat Tennis Courts.
