GREENVILLE, Pa. (June 23) -- Thiel College student-athlete Nathaniel Turner (Conneaut Lake, Pa./Conneaut Area) was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District At-Large team Tuesday afternoon. 

The CSC Academic All-District program recognizes student-athletes that excel on the court and in the classroom. To be eligible for academic all-district status, a student-athlete must place in the Top-50 regional ranking in single event (indoor or outdoor).  An undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA.

Turner is a senior member of the men's cross country, indoor track and field and outdoor track and field programs where he earned a 3.93 GPA as a conservation biology major. 

He placed 32nd in the division III Mid-Atlantic Region for his 10,000 meter run (33:09.48) to earn his post season honors.
