Women's Tennis takes on Mount Union

ALLIANCE, Ohio (April 10) -- The Thiel College Women's Tennis team dropped a road non-conference clash with the University of Mount Union 7-0 Friday evening.

The Tomcats dip to 0-14 while the Purple Raiders rise to 6-8.

Sophie Gray (Wampum, Pa./Lincoln) won four games at No. 3 singles before falling 6-3, 6-1. Megan Harding (Sharon, Pa./Sharon) took a game at No. 1 singles but fell 6-0, 6-1.

The Harding-Gray duo took a game at No. 1 doubles but eventually dropped 6-1.

Thiel is back in action next Tuesday at home against Mount Aloysius beginning at 3 p.m.
