NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. (Sept. 12) -- The Thiel College Women's Tennis team fell 7-0 at Westminster College Friday evening in its Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opener.
The Tomcats fall to 0-2 while the Titans rise to 2-1.
The duos of
Megan Harding (Sharon, Pa./Sharon) /
Mila Brdar (White Oak, Pa./McKeesport) and
Chloe Walton (Lower Burrell, Pa./Burrell) / Sydeny Green each took a game in doubles action with the former at No. 1 doubles and the latter at No. 3 doubles.
Chloe Walton (Lower Burrell, Pa./Burrell) battled hard at No. 5 singles but ultimately fell 6-1, 7-6 (7-3) in a tiebreak.
Mila Brdar (White Oak, Pa./McKeesport) fell 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles while
Sydney Green (Titusville, Pa./Titusville) nabbed a game in set two at No. 6 singles.
Quick turnaround for the Tomcats as they host Baldwin Wallace tomorrow from Tomcat Tennis Courts at 1 p.m. for a non-conference clash in the home opener.
