GREENVILLE, Pa. (Aug. 15) -- In a strategic move aimed at enhancing the financial sustainability of its athletic programs and adapting to the evolving landscape of college athletics, Thiel College today announced updated ticketing policies for the 2025–26 athletic seasons.
Starting this fall, spectators attending Thiel home athletic events at Alumni Stadium or in Beeghly Gymnasium will be required to purchase tickets for admission. This marks a shift from the previous policy of free admission and reflects a growing trend across NCAA Division III programs, where athletic departments are exploring new revenue streams to support student-athlete development and maintain competitive offerings.
"This was a difficult decision, but we believe it's the right step to maintain the high-quality experience our student-athletes and fans deserve,"
Isaac Collins, Director of Athletics, said. "We're grateful to Tomcat Nation for their continued support and are excited to keep delivering a top-tier experience in the future."
Fans can purchase individual tickets in advance for all home events via
Hometown Ticketing. Tickets can also be purchased at the main entry points of Alumni Stadium and Beeghly Gymnasium via cash or card. Spectators are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance, as demand is expected to be high.

Note: For soccer doubleheaders, admission will be charged based on the first match scheduled.
Thiel students will continue to receive free admission to all home athletic events with a valid student ID.
Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here. Fans can also download the Hometown fan app and purchase tickets through the app.
Each Thiel student-athlete will receive four PAC Passes that grants free admission to all non-postseason Thiel athletic events—home or away—for the fall season. Thiel will continue to honor PAC Passes from visiting conference schools.
Admission for home golf and tennis events will continue to be free. Additional pricing guidelines and information for winter and spring sports will be announced at a later date.
