ALTOONA, Pa. (April 6) -- The Thiel College Women's Tennis team fell 7-0 to Penn State Altoona in non-conference action Sunday at Gorilla House Gym.

The Tomcats fall to 2-11 while the Lions rise to 9-11.

The duos of Toby Atwood (Kittanning, Pa./Armstrong) / Emily Peters (Ravenna, Ohio/Ravenna) and Megan Harding (Sharon, Pa./Sharon) / Mila Brdar (White Oak, Pa./McKeesport) each had a game win in doubles action but both fell 6-1.

After dropping the first set, Harding played a competitive second set at No. 3 singles but fell 6-2. Brdar won a game in No. 4 singles while Chloe Walton (Lower Burrell, Pa./Burrell) took a game in the first set at No. 6 singles.

The Tomcats return to action next Sunday, April 13, against Mount Union at noon from Tomcat Tennis Courts.
