GROVE CITY, Pa. (March 27) -- The Thiel College Men's Tennis team fell 7-0 to Grove City College Thursday evening in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play at Walters-Zbell Tennis Courts. 

The Tomcats drop to 0-6 (0-3) while the Wolverines, who were picked second in the PAC Preseason Coaches Poll, rise to 5-2 (2-0).

Nathaniel Udell (Meadowbrook, Pa./Abington) and Bret Vilage (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) took a game at first doubles but ultimately fell 6-1.

Vilage won a game in each set but ultimately fell 6-1, 6-1 in second singles. Evan Cessna (Kittanning, Pa./West Shamokin) and Kevin Gilroy (Cuyahoga, Ohio/Cuyahoga Falls) each logged game wins on the afternoon.

Men's Tennis returns to action next Wednesday for a 4:30 p.m. clash with Washington and Jefferson College at Tomcat Tennis Courts.
