STEUBENVILLE, Ohio (Oct. 4) -- The Thiel College Women's Tennis team fell 6-1 at Franciscan University Saturday afternoon in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action from Belleview Tennis Courts.

The Tomcats dip to 0-10 overall and conclude their PAC slate at 0-8 while the Barons rise to 7-2 (5-2).

Sydney Green (Titusville, Pa./Titusville) picked up her first singles win of the season with a 6-4, 6-2 triumph at No. 5. 

Mile Brdar took a pair of games at No. 1 singles but fell 6-1, 6-1. 

The duos of Brdar / Chloe Walton (Lower Burrell, Pa./Burrell) and Green / Emmalea Zummo (Jeannette, Pa./Jeannette) each took games at No's. 1 and 2 doubles but each fell 6-1.

The Tomcats return to the courts in non-conference action against Ursuline at home Tuesday beginning at 4 p.m.
