NEW CONCORD, Ohio (Oct. 4) -- The Thiel College Men's and Women's Cross Country teams competed at Muskingum's Dan Mullen Memorial Invitational Saturday afternoon. The men's race was an 8K while the women's was a 6K.

Nathaniel Turner (Conneaut Lake, Pa./Conneaut Area) paced the men as he finished 27th in the 87-runner field with a time of 30:03.7. His finish was third best of all full-time Presidents' Athletic Conference schools' runners competing. 

Cooper Riley (Jamestown, Pa./Jamestown) was 51st with a time of 32:20.7 while Andrew Yocum (Boardman, Ohio/Boardman) was 74th at 35:55.0.

On the women's side, Brooke Griffith (Chicora, Pa./Karns City) was 52nd of 60 with a time of 33:27.3 while Savannah Schill (New Castle, Pa./Neshannock) was 53rd with a run of 33:29.9.

Both sides are back in action Saturday, Oct. 18 in Gettysburg's Aubrey Shenk Invite.
