GETTYSBURG, Pa. (Oct. 18) -- The Thiel College Men's and Women's Cross Country teams competed as individuals in Gettysburg College's Aubrey Shenk Invite Saturday morning.

Nathaniel Turner (Conneaut Lake, Pa./Conneaut Area) paced the men as he finished 59th in the 316-runner field with a PR of 26:40.7 in the 8k. 

Cooper Riley (Jamestown, Pa./Jamestown) had a PR run of 28:03.40 to finish 133rd. Andrew Yocum (Boardman, Ohio/Boardman) was 270th with a time of 31:54.60.

For the women, Brooke Griffith (Chicora, Pa./Karns City) was 243rd of 300 with a time of 29:23.70 in the 6k. Savannah Schill (New Castle, Pa./Neshannock) was 263rd with a PR of 31:25.30.

The Tomcats are back on the course Saturday, Nov. 1 for the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships at Allegheny. The men's race will begin at 11 a.m. while the women's will start at noon.
