GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis team dropped a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match to the Grove City Wolverines, 7-0, Thursday afternoon.
At first singles,
Toby Atwood (Kittanning, Pa./Armstrong) fell to Peyton Joines 6-1, 6-1. Anna Poranski defeated
Emily Peters (Ravenna, Ohio/Ravenna) 6-0, 6-0 at second singles, while
Megan Harding (Sharon, Pa./Sharon) fell to Emily Ivory 6-1, 6-0 at third singles.
Mila Brdar (White Oak, Pa./McKeesport) fell to Iris Kiehl 6-0, 6-0 at fourth singles, while
Chloe Walton (Lower Burrell, Pa./Burrell) fell to Janel McCray 6-0, 6-0 at sixth singles.
At first doubles, Atwood and Peters fell to Ivory and McCray 6-0. Harding and Brdar fell to Poranski and Joines 6-0 at second doubles, while
Sabrina Robison (Girard, Pa./Girard) and Walton fell to Alyssa Good and Courtney Decarlo 6-0 at third doubles.
The Tomcats return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Waynesburg. The PAC match is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
