FREDONIA, N.Y. – The Thiel College women's tennis team dropped a non-conference match to the Fredonia Blue Devils, 7-0, Tuesday afternoon.

At first singles, Bernadette Gens defeated Toby Atwood (Kittanning, Pa./Armstrong) 6-1, 6-0. Emily Peters (Ravenna, Ohio/Ravenna) feel to Lucy Prevet 6-0, 6-3. Mila Brdar (White Oak, Pa./McKeesport) fell to Claire LeFevre 6-1, 6-2 at fourth singles.

Atwood and Peters fell to Gens and Prevet 6-3 at first doubles, while Brdar and Megan Harding (Sharon, Pa./Sharon) fell to LeFevre and Gabriella Farr 6-2 at second doubles.

The Tomcats return to action on Friday when they travel to Ursuline. The non-conference match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
