STEUBENVILLE, Ohio – The Thiel College men's lacrosse team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game on the road Wednesday to the Franciscan Barons, 25-10.
Zach Melin (Chardon, Ohio/Chardon) led Thiel with five goals.
Bennett Medyn (Macedon, N.Y./Palmyra Macedon) tallied four points (1G, 3A) while
Chase Lawler (Etters, Pa./Red Land) scored three goals.
Che Fuqua (Clairton, Pa./Lincoln Park Charter) scored a goal while
Bryce Knauf (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) won 13-of-23 faceoffs.
Franciscan's Joseph James led all players with 12 points (5G, 7A). Gavin Cook recorded 10 points (8G, 2A).
Ethan Narby (Bath, N.Y./Haverling) made 15 saves for Thiel. Richard Vale III made four saves for Franciscan.
Thiel will host the Westminster Titans Saturday at Alumni Stadium. The PAC game is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
