BETHANY, W.Va. – The Tomcats dropped their Presidents' Athletic Conference PAC opener against Bethany College 85-54.  

The Tomcats had a strong second quarter where they went 8-11 from the field and 5-5 in free throws to make it 48-34 at half.  

The Bison kept strong and pushed a final score of 85-54, outscoring Thiel 17-3 in the fourth quarter.  

Thiel was led by sophomore Kelsey Seddon (Cochranton, Pa./Lakeview) who had a team high 15-point game. Seddon went 6-7 on the floor and corralled four boards.  

Kayley Risser (Reynolds, Pa./Dubois Central Catholic) had a career-high seven rebounds and picked up 10 points.  

Bethany had five players who scored a 10+ point game to help the Bison to victory. Lindsey Garrison led with 17 points, three steals and two rebounds.  

Addy Blazer had a game-high seven rebounds and added 10 points. Bella Skobel had 15, Kaedlee Potter had 12, and Ashleigh Wheeler had 10. 

The Tomcats home opener is next Wednesday, November 20th against Allegheny. The conference match-up will begin at 5:30 p.m.
