WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Thiel College women's soccer team fell to the Washington & Jefferson Presidents, 4-0, on the road Saturday afternoon.
The Presidents got on the board in the 23
rd minute, before doubling their lead 10 minutes later. They then added two more goals in the second half.
Thiel was led by
Imogen deBlois (Hubbard, Ohio/Howland), who recorded two shots, including one shot on goal.
Katlyn Phillips (Hanoverton, Ohio/United) also recorded a shot.
Washington & Jefferson was led by Skylar Bibbee, who recorded one goal on five shots. Dove Corrette-Bennett recorded one goal on seven shots.
In goal for Thiel,
Brianna Hollandsworth (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) recorded a career-high 21 saves, going the distance.
In net for Washington & Jefferson, Molly Schoch started, playing 77:17. Kalea Umali finished the game, making one save in 12:43.
The Tomcats will remain on the road when they travel to Westminster on Wednesday. The PAC match is slated to begin at 6 p.m.
