Cougars defeat Tomcats

GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's basketball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game Wednesday to the Chatham Cougars at Maenpa Court at Beeghly Gymnasium, 112-45.
 
Taylor Susany (Struthers, Ohio/Struthers) led Thiel with 12 points. Natalie Hering (Middlefield, Ohio/Berkshire) scored 11 points while Lexy Wagner (Pittsburgh, Pa./Keystone Oaks) led the Tomcats with six rebounds.
 
Kaitlyn Fertig scored a game-high 19 points for the Cougars. Ashlie Louden scored 17 points and grabbed six rebounds. Alyssa Laukus scored 14 points and corralled a game-best eight rebounds.
 
The Tomcats will face the Washington & Jefferson Presidents on the road Saturday. The PAC contest will start at 1 p.m.
