Wagner scores career-high 19 points against Waynesburg

GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's basketball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game to the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets Saturday at Maenpa Court at Beeghly Gymnasium, 99-81.
 
Junior guard Lexy Wagner (Pittsburgh, Pa./Keystone Oaks) led Thiel with a game- and career-high 19 points. Wagner, who made 7-of-11 shots from the floor and went 5-for-7 from three-point range, also recorded three rebounds and two assists.
 
Josie Lewis (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) scored 16 points to go along with seven assists and five rebounds. Kelsey Seddon (Cochranton, Pa./Lakeview) scored 14 points and led the Tomcats with seven rebounds while Jensen Stehlik (Sagamore Hills, Ohio/Nordonia) scored 14 points.
 
Kalista Friday led Waynesburg with 16 points. Mia Henkins scored 14 points and corralled seven rebounds while Madisen Dayton scored 10 points and led her team with eight rebounds.
 
Thiel will face the Saint Vincent Bearcats on the road Wednesday. The PAC game is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.
