GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match to the Allegheny Gators Tuesday, 9-0.

Jean-Arlette Legrand defeated Payton Blankenbeckley (Portsmouth, Ohio/Minford) 6-1, 6-0 at first singles while Emilia Grydnieva beat Toby Atwood (Kittanning, Pa./Armstrong) 6-0, 6-1 at second singles.
 
Grydnieva and Rei Etsumi topped Blankenbeckley and Morgan Gerber (Millersburg, Ohio/Strasburg-Franklin) 8-1 at second doubles.
 
The Tomcats will face the Westminster Titans on the road on Oct. 3. The PAC match will begin at 3:30 p.m.
