GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis team lost a non-conference match to the Penn State Behrend Lions Tuesday, 8-1.
 
Toby Atwood (Kittanning, Pa./Armstrong) and Payton Blankenbeckley (Portsmouth, Ohio/Minford) led the Tomcats with and 8-4 win at first doubles over Jayna Baer and Rachel Fleming.
 
At second singles, Baer edged Blankenbeckley 6-3, 4-6, 11-9.
 
The Tomcats will host the Waynesburg Yellow Jacket Friday. The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
