WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match to the Washington & Jefferson Presidents Wednesday at the Janet Swanson Tennis Center, 9-0.
 
Riley Moore topped Payton Blankenbeckley (Portsmouth, Ohio/Minford) 5-7, 6-1, 10-8 at second singles.
 
Moore and Nidhi Pulicherla defeated Blankenbeckley and Toby Atwood (Kittanning, Pa./Armstrong) at first doubles, 8-2. Jaelyn Kennedy and Lisha Chadda won 8-2 over Emily Peters (Ravenna, Ohio/Ravenna) and Mei Williams (New Wilmington, Pa./Wilmington Area) at second doubles.
 
Thiel will face the Grove City Wolverines on the road Friday. The PAC match is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
