GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's basketball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game to the Saint Vincent Bearcats Wednesday at Maenpa Court at Beeghly Gymnasium, 60-34.
Destiny Johnson (Baltimore, Md./Western) paced Thiel with a game-high 21 points to go along with 16 rebounds to record her 12
th double-double of the season. She also registered five steals and a pair of blocks. With her 21 points, Johnson moved into ninth place on the program's career points list (1,140) surpassing Tammy Willrich who scored 1,132 points.
Taylor Susany (Struthers, Ohio/Struthers) scored six points while
Lexy Wagner (Pittsburgh, Pa./Keystone Oaks) corralled six rebounds and scored five points.
Emily Cavacini led Saint Vincent with 12 points while Madison Weber scored 10 points. Ella Marconi secured a game-best 17 rebounds.
The Tomcats will host the Chatham Cougars Sunday. The PAC game will begin at noon.
