Tomcats conclude season against Titans

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Thiel College women's basketball team finished its 2022-23 season Saturday with an 84-44 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss on the road to the Westminster Titans.
 
Destiny Johnson (Baltimore, Md./Western) led the Tomcats with a game-best 18 points to go along with 11 rebounds. It was her 13th double-double of the season.
 
Shayla Foster (East Liverpool, Ohio/East Liverpool) scored 13 points for Thiel while Destiny Merriwether (Youngstown, Ohio/East) grabbed nine rebounds and scored four points.
 
Mariah Vincent led Westminster with 17 points. Katie Fitzpatrick and Camden Hergenrother both recorded double-doubles. Fitzpatrick scored 13 points and pulled down 12 rebounds. Hergenrother scored 15 points and handed out 10 assists.
