GREENVILLE, Pa. – Thiel College junior Braydon Herbster (Linesville, Pa./Reynolds) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Wrestler of the Week on Monday.
 
Wrestling at 197, Herbster went 4-0 for the Tomcats last week in a pair of tri-matches.
 
Herbster went 2-0 at the Mel Berry Duals on Tuesday. He pinned Penn State Behrend's Dylan Barber (0:39) and won by decision (3-2) over Case Western Reserve's Stephen Andryc.
 
On Saturday, Herbster went 2-0 at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. He helped the Tomcats secure a 26-21 win over the St. John Fisher Cardinals with a major decision (12-0) over Jack Lestrange. He also won by major decision (14-3) over Nathan Powley to help Thiel earn a 31-17 win over Pitt-Bradford.
 
The Tomcats (4-1, 0-0 PAC) will host the W&J Presidents (3-5, 1-0 PAC) on Tuesday. The PAC match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
