MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match on the road to the Allegheny Gators, 9-0, to snap a two match win streak.
At third singles, Jean-Arlette Legrand defeated
Toby Atwood (Kittanning, Pa./Armstrong) 6-0, 6-1.
At first doubles, Ella Swan and Katherine Marks defeated
Natalie Zgurich (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) and Peyton Blankenbeckley, 8-1. At third doubles,
Emily Peters (Ravenna, Ohio/Ravenna) and
Mei Williams (New Wilmington, Pa./Wilmington Area) lost 8-1 to Ryan Cox and Sabrina Rodriguez.
The Tomcats are back in action on Friday when they open up newly renovated Tomcat Tennis Courts against the La Roche Redhawks. The match is scheduled to start at 4 p.m.
