LATROBE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference match on the road Tuesday to the Saint Vincent Bearcats, 6-3.
 
Thiel won two singles matches on the day. At No. 3, Payton Blankenbeckley (Portsmouth, Ohio/Minford) defeated Emily Pierce 7-6 (7-4), 6-2. At No. 5, Reagan Hayne (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) topped Rebecca Kurylo 6-3, 6-3.
 
Toby Atwood (Kittanning, Pa./Armstrong) and Jordan Zee (Conneaut, Ohio/Edgewood) teamed up for an 8-6 win at second doubles over Bella Baumgardner and Pierce, 8-6.
 
The Tomcats will face the Penn State Behrend Lions on the road Wednesday. The non-conference match is scheduled to start at 4 p.m.
