GREENVILLE, Pa. – Thiel College junior Evan Whiteside (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Wrestler of the Week on Monday.
 
Whiteside went 4-0 and won the 125-pound bracket at the W&J Invitational on Saturday. He won his first three matches at the invitational by pin over Penn State Behrend's Zach Dellinger (0:31), Jamestown Community College's Deaonte Hutchinson (0:33) and Fairmont State's Brandan Meyers (4:14).
 
In the finals, Whiteside edged Lycoming's Kaden Majcher, 13-10.
 
Whiteside and the Tomcats will host the Hiram Terriers on Wednesday. The non-conference match will begin at 7 p.m.
