BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match on the road to the Geneva Golden Tornadoes Saturday, 6-3.
Thiel won two singles matches on the day. At No. 4,
Toby Atwood (Kittanning, Pa./Armstrong) defeated Cejaelyn Perednia 6-4, 6-2.
Reagan Hayne (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) won 6-3, 6-1 at No. 5 over Jenna Allison.
Hayne and
Emily Peters (Ravenna, Ohio/Ravenna) teamed for an 8-2 win over Perednia and Jessica Bout at third doubles.
The Tomcats will host the Franciscan Barons Wednesday. The PAC match is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
