GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis team lost a non-conference match to the Penn State Behrend Lions Wednesday, 8-1.
 
Payton Blankenbeckley (Portsmouth, Ohio/Minford) led the Tomcats with a 7-5, 6-1 win over Jada Donatien at third singles.
 
At third doubles, Madeline Depalma (Ravenna, Ohio/Ravenna) and Reagan Hayne (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) were defeated 8-3 by Sara Howard and Rachel Weber.
 
The Tomcats will face the Medaille Mavericks on the road on Tuesday, Oct. 5. The non-conference match will start at 2 p.m.
