NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis team competed in an individuals-only event against the Westminster Titans on Saturday.
 
In singles play, freshman Emily Peters (Ravenna, Ohio/Ravenna) earned an 8-5 win over Anna McGinnis. Natalie Zgurich (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) was narrowly defeated, 8-7, by Sabrina Slagle.
 
Thiel will face Westminster in a regular Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match on the road Tuesday. The match is set to begin at 4 p.m.
