BLUFFTON, Ohio – The Thiel College women's soccer team lost a non-conference game on the road Saturday to the Bluffton Beavers, 4-0.
Arlene Barreto (Covina, Calif./Bishop Amat Memorial ) paced the offensive effort with two shots, one of which was on target.
Emma Polinski (Brunswick, Ohio/Trinity),
Shylee Turner (Warren, Ohio/Howland),
Nicole Pereksta (Parma Heights, Ohio/Valley Forge) and
Mackenzie Quinn (Carnegie, Pa./Chartiers Valley) all took shots on goal in the loss.
Defensively,
Bethany Bonnar (Beaver, Pa./Beaver Area) recorded nine saves in net.
Shelby Case, Bailee Kingsley, Maddie Huffman and Ally Richardson all found the back of the net for the Beavers. Jules Frazier tallied five saves to preserve the shutout.
The Tomcats will be back in action Monday when they host the La Roche Redhawks. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
