LATROBE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's soccer team concluded the 2019 season with a 3-1 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss to the Saint Vincent Bearcats on Friday.
 
After being down by three late in the second half, Nicole Pereksta (Parma Heights, Ohio/Valley Forge) got on the board for Thiel when she capitalized on a pass from Hannah Strott (Mogadore, Ohio/Field) to cut the Bearcat lead to 3-1. A two-goal deficit would be as close to the lead as the Tomcats would get.
 
Hannah Irvine scored all three goals for Saint Vincent.
 
Defensively, Bethany Bonnar (Beaver, Pa./Beaver Area) tallied six saves during her time in net.
 
The Tomcats end the 2019 season with a 6-12 overall record. Thiel's six wins this year are the most since the 2014 season and are triple the amount of wins from a year ago.
