NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match 9-0 on the road Friday to the Westminster Titans.
Allyson Stanley (Oil City, Pa./Oil City) fell to 10-3 on the season at fourth singles with a 6-3, 6-3 loss to Sabrina Slagle.
Stanley and
Shyann Foreman (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro) lost 8-3 at No. 2 doubles to Casey Barton and Sara Small.
Natalie Zgurich (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) and
Angela Campbell (Pittsburgh, Pa./Plum) were defeated 8-2 at No. 1 doubles by Margo Mason and Alex Marzouca.
The Tomcats fell to 6-7 on the season with Friday's loss.
Thiel will face Clarion University on the road Saturday. The non-conference match is set to begin at 11 a.m.
