EBENSBURG, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis team opened the 2018 season Friday with a 9-0 loss to the Mount Aloysius Mounties at the Ebensburg Tennis Center.
 
For the Tomcats, Angela Campbell (Pittsburgh, Pa./Plum) lost 6-4, 6-1 at number two singles while Amelia Mutinelli (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) was defeated 6-3, 6-4 at fifth singles.
 
Campbell and Shyann Foreman (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro) lost 7-3 to Emily Goldyn and Chloe Love at first doubles.
 
The Tomcats will begin Presidents' Athletic Conference play next Thursday when they face the Grove City Wolverines on the road.
