GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's soccer team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game to the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets Saturday at Alumni Stadium, 1-0.
 
Maddy Manz tallied the lone goal in the game 1:20 into the second half when scored on a rebound in the box.
 
Marissa Ramirez (Amherst, Ohio/Amherst Steele) led the Tomcats with five shots, four of which were on goal.
 
Shay Tresler (Fairview, Pa./Fairview) made five saves for Thiel. Courtney Syfert also made five saves for the Yellow Jackets.
 
Thiel's Cassie Koch (Stow, Ohio/Stow-Munroe), Joelle Reitz (DuBois, Pa./DuBois) and Maddie Sollers (Suffield, Ohio/Field) were honored prior to the game during senior day.
 
The Tomcats will return to action Wednesday when they take on the Grove City Wolverines on the road. The PAC contest is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
