GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis team was defeated 6-0 Wednesday by the Geneva Golden Tornadoes.
 
For Thiel, Emilie Maxheimer (Massillon, Ohio/Massillon) and Marquett Samuels (Austintown, Ohio/Austintown Fitch) battled at No. 3 doubles but fell 8-3 to Laura Anderson and Rebekah Locke. Also, Shyann Foreman (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro) was defeated 6-2, 6-0 at No. 4 singles.
 
The Tomcats will return to action Wednesday when they take on the Saint Vincent Bearcats on the road. The match is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
