BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss Friday to the Geneva Golden Tornadoes.

Mercedez Quarles (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland School of Science and Medicine) kept here No. 5 singles match close, but fell to Megan Shultz 6-1, 6-2.
Also for the Tomcats,
Lauren Wolfe (Anita, Pa./Punxsutawney) and
Sara Matczak (Erie, Pa./Fairview) suffered an 8-1 loss at No. 1 doubles to Rachael Letterman and Katherine Deitrick.
Shyann Foreman (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro) and
Angela Campbell (Pittsburgh, Pa./Plum) were also defeated 8-1 at No. 2 doubles by Sara Stoll and Grace Moyer.
The Tomcats will return to action Friday when they host the Saint Vincent Bearcats. The match is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
