ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Thiel College wrestling team competed in the annual Mount Union Duals, held at the Peterson Fieldhouse.

The Tomcats finished 1-3 at the Duals, defeating host Mount Union while dropping matches to Heidelberg, Messiah and Alma.

Jason Miller (Clarksville, Pa./Jefferson Morgan) (149), Austin Bonacci (West Mifflin, Pa./West Mifflin) (157) and Chris Nuss (West Homestead, Pa/Central Catholic) (165) each picked up three wins at the duals.

Miller scored a 9-4 decision over Joey Baitt of Heidelberg before recording a 16-1 technical fall over Kyle Jenkins of Mount Union and a quick 40 second pin over William Korzeniewski of Messiah. Miller was unable to make it a perfect 4-0 on the day when he fell to Evyn Bryant of Alma in his final match.

Bonacci and Nuss each went undefeated on the day. Bonacci tallied two decisions against Noah Messerall of Heidelberg (9-4) and Josh Toal of Messiah (10-3). Bonacci picked up a 12-4 major decision over Charles Bartz of Mount Union. Nuss collected a 5-3 decision victory over Eric Murdock of Heidelberg in his first match of the day. After an 11-2 major decision over Kevin Diehl of Messiah, Nuss pinned Mitchell Franklin of Alma in 2:39.

Giuliano Graziosi (Hanover, Pa./Hanover) (125) and Dominic Farabaugh (Loretto, Pa./Penn Cambria) (184) each finished the dual 2-1 for the Tomcats. Graziosi secured a 5:00 pinfall victory over Brendan Williamson of Heidelberg and an 8-6 decision against A.J. Kammeyer of Mount Union. Farabaugh rebounded after getting pinned in his first match to earn a 15-5 major decision over Mike Delsanter of Mount Union and a pinfall victory in 1:07 over Alma's Trevor Willing in his final match.

The Tomcats will be back in action after the Thanksgiving holiday when they compete in the RIT Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 3 in Rochester, N.Y.
