LATROBE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 defeat to the Saint Vincent Bearcats in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest Friday afternoon.
 
Lauren Mittner (New Brighton, Pa./New Brighton) played two close matches for the Tomcats. Mittner battled in No.1 singles against Susie Ellis but fell 6-2, 6-0. Mittner also teamed with Lauren Wolfe (Anita, Pa./Punxsutawney) to take on Ellis and Jackii Hauser but were defeated by the Bearcat tandem 8-2 in No.1 doubles.
 
The Tomcats will travel to Crestview Hills, Ky. to take on the Thomas More Saints in PAC match on Saturday. The match is now slated to start at 4 p.m. inside the Five Seasons Sports Club.
