SHARON, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis were defeated by the Geneva Golden Tornadoes 8-1 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup Friday afternoon.

Lauren Mittner (New Brighton, Pa./New Brighton) and Sara Matczak (Erie, Pa./Fairview) earned a 9-7 win over Elizabeth Stewart and Samantha Jenson in No. 1 doubles.

The Tomcats have a quick turnaround, taking on the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets at noon tomorrow at Buhl Park in Sharon, Pa.
