ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Thiel College wrestling team competed in the Mount Union Duals Saturday, earning a 22-21 victory over Heidelberg, who was ranked 28th in the country in Division III according to the most recent National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) poll. The Tomcats also lost Saturday to Ferrum (21-18), third-ranked Messiah (35-7) and 20th-ranked Alma (36-6).
 
Nick Sutton (Butler, Pa./Butler) and Marco Crivelli (Clinton, Pa./Hopewell) led the Tomcats with undefeated records Saturday. Sutton went 4-0 on the day while Crivelli went 3-0.
 
Sutton pinned Ferrum's Paul Biggs in 36 seconds. He also scored on a trio of decisions against Heidelberg's Noah Messerall (4-3), Messiah's Tyler Miller (7-5, sudden victory) and Alma's Jarrett Sadler (8-2).
 
Crivelli won by technical fall over Ferrum's Blake Rosenbaum (16-0) and earned decision wins over Heidelberg's Eric Murdock (9-2) and Alma's Trent Hullett (8-6).

The Tomcats will return to action Saturday, Dec. 5 when they compete in the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Invitational.
