WAYNESBURG, Pa. – The Thiel College women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss Saturday on the road to the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets.
Natalie Fortna gave the Yellow Jackets the lead a little more than 22 minutes into the contest. Sam Nichols doubled Waynesburg's lead late in the second half when she scored on a free kick from outside the box.
Mary Oakey (Baltimore, Md. /Mercy ) made 10 saves for the Tomcats in 90 minutes of work. Ciara Scott stopped one shot for the Yellow Jackets.
The Tomcats will host the Thomas More Saints Monday at Alumni Stadium. The game is slated to begin at 2 p.m.
