Box Score BETHANY, W.Va. – The Thiel College women's basketball team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest to the Bethany Bison Saturday, 70-66.
 
It was a close game throughout, and the Tomcats led 32-31 at halftime. Bethany earned the win by edging Thiel in the second half, 39-34.
 
Jaclyn Watkins (Aliquippa, Pa./Aliquippa) and Taylor Ketler (Dalton, Ohio/Dalton) led the Tomcats with 16 points apiece. Ketler also led the Tomcats with eight rebounds while Watkins registered seven assists. Hannah Stoneman (Sugarcreek, Ohio/Hiland) came off the bench to score 12 points.
 
Kelsea Daugherty recorded a double-double for Bethany with game-highs in points (27) and rebounds (12). Hayley Holenka also scored 16 points for the Bison.
 
Thiel will travel to Pittsburgh Wednesday to face the Chatham Cougars in a PAC contests. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m.
