Box Score GREENVILLE, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg women's soccer team opened up a 3-0 lead on the Thiel Tomcats Thursday and held on to win 3-2 at Alumni Stadium.
 
Abigail Pasierb opened scoring a little over 22 minutes into the contest on a pass from Alexandra Dimoff. The Bobcats went up 2-0 less than two minutes later when Ashley Dickey scored off a pass from Courtney Carroll.
 
Stephanie Wehner scored at the 33:49 mark to give Pitt-Greensburg a 3-0 advantage.
 
Thiel sliced into Pitt-Greensburg's lead before the end of the first half when Elizabeth Wilkinson (Apollo, Pa./Kiski Area) scored an unassisted goal.
 
Wilkinson went on to assist on Morgan Berg (Cleveland, Ohio/Rocky River)'s goal, which was scored 1:34 into the second half, but the Tomcats couldn't score the equalizer down the stretch.
 
Shannon Edwards made five saves for Pitt-Greensburg while Mary Oakey (Baltimore, Md. /Mercy ) made one save for Thiel.
 
Thiel will host Carlow on Tuesday at Alumni Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m.
