Box Score GREENVILLE, Pa. – Morgan Berg (Cleveland, Ohio/Rocky River) scored her team-leading fifth goal of the season eight minutes and 40 seconds into Thiel's match against Medaille Tuesday. However, Medaille responded with four unanswered goals to win the non-conference game at Alumni Stadium, 4-1.
 
Berg put the Tomcats up early from close range on a pass from Elizabeth Wilkinson (Apollo, Pa./Kiski Area). Less than eight minutes later, Kalyn Compeau tied up the contest on a pass from Candis Kapuscinski.
 
Kapuscinski went on to score two more goals, one in the first half and another in the second half, to give the Mavericks a 3-1 lead. Medaille's Mackenzie Berger closed out scoring at the 81:12 mark.
 
Morgan Howe made four saves for the Mavericks while Thiel's Kim Gentry (Madison, Ohio/Madison) denied three shots.
 
Thiel (2-7) will host the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
