GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis team suffered an 8-1 loss Saturday to the Penn State Behrend Lions.
 
Nicole Carlton (Beloit, Ohio/West Branch) picked up a win for the Tomcats at No. 6 singles, defeating Julie Lester, 6-0, 6-1.
 
Nicole Carlton (Beloit, Ohio/West Branch) and sister Emily also played a close match at No. 3 doubles, but fell to Storm Schaffer and Morgan Kramer, 8-4.
 
The Tomcats (2-4) will host the Saint Vincent Bearcats on Thursday. The match is set to begin at 3:30 p.m.
