Box Score GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's soccer team suffered a 2-1 loss under the lights at Alumni Stadium to the visiting Franciscan Barons Monday night.

The Barons opened scoring in the 28th minute when Jordan Byrley scored off an Ashley Ruttencutter assist. The Tomcats equalized early in the second half when freshman Lauren Thomas (Warren, Ohio/LaBrae) booted a shot out of reach of the goalkeeper on an assist by Monica Ochoa (North Royalton, Ohio/Padua Franciscan).

The Barons then scored in the 78th minute when Maura Kennedy scored on a rebound.

The Tomcats have a quick turnaround as they travel to McKeesport, Pa. to take on Penn State Greater Allegheny on Tuesday. The game is scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
