Box Score BETHANY, W.Va. – Taylor Ketler (Dalton, Ohio/Dalton) recorded her first career double-double Saturday, but it wasn't enough for the Thiel College women's basketball team, which suffered a 78-61 loss to the Bethany Bison.
 
Ketler recorded 11 rebounds and scored 10 points for the Tomcats, both of which were career-highs. Sophomore forward Jaclyn Watkins (Aliquippa, Pa./Aliquippa) led the Tomcats with 18 points. She also recorded nine rebounds, just one shy of a double-double. Hannah Stoneman (Sugarcreek, Ohio/Hiland), another sophomore forward, also scored 10 points Saturday.
 
Sami Schott led Bethany with 18 points and 17 rebounds. Taylor Verrico (12), Mikyla Tipton (11) and Gabrielle Naples (10) also scored in double figures for the Bison.
 
Thiel trailed Bethany by just four points (34-30) at the half, but the Bison outscored the Tomcats 44-31 in the second half.
 
The Tomcats (4-17, 3-11 PAC) will return to action Wednesday when they travel to Waynesburg, Pa. to take on the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets at 5:30 p.m.
