GREENVILLE, Pa – The Thiel College women's tennis team honored two seniors Thursday and earned a 7-2 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) victory over the Bethany Bison.

Senior Nicole Carlton (Beloit, Ohio/West Branch) recorded a win over Bethany's Jannike Achenbach in the No. 6 singles match 6-0, 6-1. Senior Shay Kashey (Edinboro, Pa./General McLane) teamed up with Sophomore Lauren Mittner (New Brighton, Pa./New Brighton) to earn an 8-2 No. 1 doubles victory over Allison Snyder and Katie Vallone.

The Tomcats swept doubles action, while four Tomcats earned singles victories including Mittner, Sara Matczak (Erie, Pa./Fairview), and Nicole and Emily Carlton (Beloit, Ohio/West Branch).

The Tomcats (3-6, 1-5 PAC) will take on Grove City Friday at 3:30 p.m.
